Do Yourself a Favour, and give your Body it’s best chance to do what it it trying to do.

If you are happy that you are giving your body everything that it needs, day-by-day, to do the job that your organs are designed for (and nothing else), then you do not need to read further.

However…

“It’s Up To Us”…OK; How?

 

I wrote recently about Law and Order, and acting with Integrity and Love.

On the radio last Sunday, a senior Police Officer sent out exactly the same message (maybe without my subtle touch).

The message is, “It is up to us”.

The following article that I have chosen, is topical.

Once again not very subtle, but there is little doubt that this is where we are at.  Not just in Australia, but around the world.

How do I make a Difference?

Obviously, a change of attitude is required, and acceptance (and ownership) of the problem.

In his book Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill spends a lot of time on the sub-conscious mind, and the power of auto-suggestion.

Whether we know it or acknowledge it, these two work together every second of our life, and determine our destiny.

The sub-conscious mind does not, and can not distinguish between good and bad. It just receives and stores what we purposely permit to occupy our minds.

(How many times have you gone to sleep at night with unresolved problems, and woken up in the morning with a clear path of action?)

The book goes on to deal extensively with faith… in it’s broadest terms.

To condense it in a sentence – if we intensely believe in and desire something and have faith that it can happen, and continue to submit it to the sub-conscious mind, we have demonstrated the urgency of the matter to authorize auto-suggestion to take control, create the vehicle, and put the means of attaining it, back into your conscious mind.

Our continuing belief, desire and faith, can then take and run with the process to bring it to eventuality.

If you fail to act on the suggestion, it will be lost. It is not a passing “good thought”. It is an on-going process; your reaction will contribute to your destiny.

Of course it takes time…it has to be firmly embedded by constantly expressing the desire and belief to yourself, thus firmly planting and nurturing in the sub-conscious mind.

The object of your desire can be anything.

However, to revert to where we started, if we have (and want) the strength of character to be the best person that we can be, and that we can influence those around us to follow suit…it will happen.

I won’t go into the myriad of outcomes that we can ensure will eventuate, I just repeat the fact that the sub-conscious can not issue a judgement – it accepts exactly what you force into it – good or bad, wise or unwise, positive or negative.

The old proverb “beware of what you wish for…it just might come true”, has a lot a truth.

The book provides a solid life lesson on self determination.

No sales pitch this time; just an assurance that you do determine the course of your destiny, and you can fine tune the daily trips.  

And always: never deny someone the opportunity to feel good about himself… Mass.

Direct Selling and My Role in Your Business

My apologies.

I have been so busy “breaking news”, that I have omitted a major aspect of the business.

My previous business was in Financial Strategy and Management.

When we talk about investment, the conversation invariably goes straight to Stocks or Real Estate? Which Stocks? Where to buy?

The short answer is “forget all that; let’s firstly understand your situation and needs, then we can Plan a Strategy; then we can add Product.

“Product” is more a button-pressing exercise, the rest, the most important part, is about You.

Now let me hesitate: one of the most meaningful statements, and I use it as a quote, was from a very successful American Financial Advisor, at a Conference in Melbourne.

He came on in the last session, late Friday afternoon, after a week-long event.

Most of the people were now in the Pub or on the Golf Course, and many in the room were asleep in their chairs.

They missed the Gem of the Conference. He said: “I spend our first session listening to who you are, where you are and what you Want, then I spend the rest of our relationship convincing you of what you Need”.

From my previuous business, there will be plenty who might step up, and rightly tell you that I mis-read the market, and did not adjust the strategy. The result was exactly the same for me as it was for them.

That is no excuse, and doesn’t ease the pain in any way for my valued clients.

In the context of the current situation, I have one specific belief and strategy: Direct Selling is NOW, and is the future.

Have a look around you: everyone has their head down in their phone. Not everyone is taking Selfies and discussing last night’s party. Much of today’s business is happening right before your eyes.

It is not too late; it is not going away.

No fisherman comes home broken-hearted because he did not catch every fish in the bay. He keeps fishing and fulfills his expectations. If you had a “Yes” from every prospect, could you deliver?

Back to my point. When I advise you of a Product that I consider of good value and benefit, I show you the way to Buy, usually as:

  • a Retail Consumer, or as
  • A Member or Associate, whereby you might avail yourself of discounts, and you may pass on to others.

I consider that you, as a Retail Customer are receiving the products that I offer, at fair value.

A Member or Associate has the opportunity to buy at Member rates, and work hard and sell the Product and, and receive rewards for her work.

There are no free lunches in the Direct Selling business. You work for everything you get.

Back to my point: When I encourage you to Join, or become a Member or Associate, I am offering you all the assistance and advice to facilitate your Hope and Desire.

You will hear “this business is simple”

It is not easy.  Surprise!!  You have to work. But you have help and direction.

Your hard, successful work will definitely help me, but it can also take you way past me in earnings. It is all up to you, and you have me to help you do it.

The ideal time to start Direct Selling is now:

If you have a job, do it part-time.

If you are stuck at home, do it in your time.

If you need extra income, do it.

If you are retired, do it.

If you are about to retire – and you will one day, do it NOW.

Your aim is to create a continual residual income. Then you can fill in the rest of your time doing whatever works for you.

So next time I advise you of a product or service, look at the wider, long range aspect and determine, “will it fit my needs?”.

Becoming a Freelance Writer

A most honorable ambition; Becoming a Freelance Writer.

How? Do you go to University?

Do you submit hundreds of articles to every publication, local and universal, and hope that someone might publish one?

Are you tailoring your articles to subjects that you think that the editor might like… compromising your writing?

Did you get any published? Did you get paid? How much time did you spend?

Freelance writing should allow you to be totally independent, and should be fun. It should be structured to satisfy your wants, needs, opinions and ambitions. 

Can you be paid for doing this…? YES – abundantly! Your rewards in life are commensurate with the service that you provide.

As an independent writer, at a very basic level, you can open your own Web-site / Blog, with your own title, and begin to …WRITE. As I am doing now.

You might want to give an opinion, provide information, promote a product or event, or just ramble-on.

You might argue that you can use the Social Media to do this – free. Yes you can, but if you are serious about something, or have something to sell, it is best to use the Social Media as a pointer to your own Blog. Once at your Blog, you have their undivided attention, and you can do your own thing.

If you are building a business, your own Web-site is essential.

As your needs evolve, you will learn how to enhance the site, or you will enlist the services of a Web Builder. I am still at the DIY stage; the opportunities are there for everybody.

Write about what you want. Promote any product, service or philosophy that you want.
